BATMAN & ROBIN
This is not the story of BATMAN and ROBIN from comics or movies. This is story of real life analogies I have found with them.
Recently I have been traveling a lot, between two stations in India. They are Atmakur Nellore and Hyderabad which are 500 km apart. I have booked the same bus for all my travel plans both for my onward and return journey. As a result I have met Batman & Robin.
The Batman and Robin are my bus drivers in this journey. The Batman is tall and muscular and Robin is short and bulky. they are different heroes who make my journey safe.
All my journeys start in the evening and end in the morning starting at Hyderabad evening and ending in Atmakur morning or Atmakur evening and ending at Hyderabad morning. This crusaders without the cape works the whole night to see I reach on time and safe. Driving in Hyderabad Streets is not an easy task so Batman takes the responsibility. Batman didn’t spare the wrongdoers in the traffic. He gives them mouthful cursing innovatively who does’t follow rules or obstruct him.
To give a picture of whole Bus travel, the bus collects people from various locations in Hyderabad. People has to reach their stations before time and there is a GPS app to know the location of the Bus.
Being a government owned bus driver is like managing 54 barbaric people right from stone age. The moment commuters entered bus, everyone feels it as if they have owned it. the won’t tolerate slightest of inconvenience. BATMAN has to be at his best every second to manage this herd. He might think managing justice league is in this hard.
There would be drunkards, Mothers with their babies, old young and everything in between, teens armed with their smart phones and headsets. Robin takes charge when the Batman needs rest. Usually Robin deals with easy commuters and the when to deal with difficult commuters he refers them to Batman. Batman judges quickly and acts decisively. He respects women and seems to have soft corner for them.
And today I am travelling in the same bus and really grateful to my Batman and Robin.
