Good things in Software engineering and Farming

Farming is physical and Software engineering is more virtual. I was closely associated with both these fields and I think both fields can learn from each other.

Good things in Farming

1. Things are kind of informal in farming, this allow us to speak your mind freely. An informal way lows the barrier and people start to speak up as people are ok to look foolish than in a formal setting.
2. In farming I see people seek personal connections. Once this bonds are formed our usual transactions becomes more than a business. This leads to lot of trust between each other. As we care each other when some thing bad happens people help out each other.
3. Sharing tools is very command thing in farming. People ask for leasing the other people tools to get the work done. This leads to remove burden for buying each and every thing.
4. Some times work needs lot of hard work and sticking around helps to finish things.

Good things in Software engineering

1. Seek help, I learned it the hard way. After years of figuring out stuff myself I find asking help is the quick way to do things. A team of people can do more what a single guy can achieve.
2. Outcome > ego
3. Assumptions are made when you don’t ask questions. This leads to ineffective results. Ask questions when ever you are in doubt or when you ever you need confirm your understandings.
