Thanks Sakshi for the link. I tried it out and I think you should add "web text/customtype" or "web application/customtype" to fetch properliy.

You have to stringify your object, as I think the clipboard blobs only support strings.

Chrome might support only mimetypes with prefix of "text/" or "application/"
